September 27, 2024: Sterling, VA 20164 Woodgrove Wolverines (Purcellville, VA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Park View Patriots (Sterling, VA), 54-0 in a league battle.
With the win, Woodgrove improves its record to 4-1 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Independence (Ashburn, VA) to play the in a non-league battle on Friday, October 4. The go into the battle with a record of 1-3. Independence lost 45-36 in their recent non-league battle against Stafford (Falmouth, VA)
The Patriots now have a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Broad Run for a Catoctin battle on Friday, October 4. Park View will play a Spartans team coming off a 31-12 non-league win over Dominion (Sterling, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 2-2.
