California High School Football - University City can't hold off Westview
September 27, 2024: San Diego, CA 92129 Westview Wolverines (San Diego, CA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting University City Centurions (San Diego, CA), 18-14 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Westview improves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Wolverines host Rancho Buena Vista (Vista, CA) to play the Longhorns in a battle on Friday, October 4. The Longhorns go into the battle with a record of 3-2. Rancho Buena Vista won 26-21 in their recent league battle against Valley Center (Valley Center, CA)
The Centurions now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Mira Mesa for a battle on Friday, October 4. University City will play a Marauders team coming off a 28-14 non-league win over Hoover (San Diego, CA). The Marauders record now stands at 1-3.
