The Canisius Crusaders (Buffalo, NY) football knocked off the visiting St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute Marauders (Buffalo, NY), 45-28 in Saturday's league outing.

The Crusaders now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Bishop Timon-St. Jude for a Monsignor Martin A outing on Saturday, October 4. Canisius will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 33-10 non-league win over Varsity Opponent (, ). The Tigers record now stands at 1-2.

With the defeat, St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Marauders host St. Francis (Hamburg, NY) to clash with the Red Raiders in a Monsignor Martin A outing on Saturday, October 4. The Red Raiders come into the outing with a record of 3-1. St. Francis won 49-22 in their recent non-league outing against Cathedral Prep (Erie, PA)
