California High School Flag Football - Ventura sneaks past Milpitas

September 27, 2025: Ventura, CA 93001

The Ventura Cougars flag football team scored 20 points and restricted the visiting Milpitas Trojans to 13 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cougars now sport a 15-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Buena for a Channel test on Tuesday, September 30. Ventura will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 35-6 league loss to San Marcos (Santa Barbara, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-9.

The Trojans (11-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Gunn (Palo Alto, CA). The Titans enter the non-league challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, Gunn edged Madera South (Madera, CA), 13-6, in a non-league test.
