In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Beatrice Orangemen softball team scored a nice 11-0 win over the Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays.

The Orangemen (24-4) will now prepare for their match against Bennington (Bennington, NE). The Badgers come into the B District 3 match with a 11-10 record. In their last game, Bennington defeated Burke (Omaha, NE), 16-0, in a non-league game.

The Bluejays now own a 13-10 record. They play next when they host Bishop Neumann for a non-league game on Monday, September 29. Ashland-Greenwood will play a Cavaliers squad coming off a 12-0 non-league loss to Northwest (Grand Island, NE). The Cavaliers record now stands at 16-6.
