Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Waukesha West Wolverines (Waukesha, WI) and the visiting Fond du Lac Cardinals (Fond du Lac, WI), observed Waukesha West's volleyball team hold off Fond du Lac by a tally of 2-1.

The Wolverines (15-8) will now prepare for their contest against Muskego (Muskego, WI). The Warriors enter the Classic Eight contest with a 7-12 record. In their last contest, Muskego got by Mukwonago (Mukwonago, WI), 3-1, in a league contest.
