Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Southern Columbia Area nudges East Juniata
September 28, 2024: McAlisterville, PA 17049 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Southern Columbia Area Tigers (Catawissa, PA) and the host East Juniata Tigers (McAlisterville, PA), saw Southern Columbia Area's soccer squad hold off East Juniata by a score of 1-0.
The Tigers (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Mifflinburg (Mifflinburg, PA). The Wildcats enter the PIAA District IV-AAA battle with a 0-12 record. In their last battle, Mifflinburg was edged by Juniata (Mifflintown, PA), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Tigers confront the Halifax Wildcats (Halifax, PA) in a Tri-Valley battle, on Wednesday, October 2. East Juniata will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 11-2 record after their 4-2 league win over Juniata (Mifflintown, PA).
