The Oakdale Mustangs held off the host Sierra Timberwolves football team by a count of 42-35 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Oakdale upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Mustangs host East Union (Manteca, CA) to encounter the Lancers in a Valley Oak League outing on Friday, October 6. The Lancers go into the outing with a record of 3-3. East Union lost 47-7 in their recent league outing against Central Catholic (Modesto, CA)
