Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Rosewood Eagles (Goldsboro, NC) and the visiting Neuse Charter Cougars (Smithfield, NC), saw Rosewood's volleyball squad notch a victory over Neuse Charter by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Rosewood improves its record to 13-5 on the season. The Eagles travel to Midway (Dunn, NC) to encounter the Raiders in a Swine Valley 2A/3A battle on Tuesday, September 30. The Raiders go into the battle with a record of 10-5. Midway lost 3-1 in their recent league battle against Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC)

The Cougars now own a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Franklin Academy for a Diamond Nine 1A/2A/3A battle on Tuesday, September 30. Neuse Charter will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to East Wake Academy (Zebulon, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 4-12.
