North Carolina High School Soccer - East Mecklenburg toppled by South Mecklenburg
September 3, 2024: Charlotte, NC 28210 South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting East Mecklenburg Eagles (Charlotte, NC), 5-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, South Mecklenburg advances its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Sabres travel to Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC) to clash with the Mavericks in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. The Mavericks come into the test with a record of 5-2. Marvin Ridge lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Providence (Charlotte, NC)
The Eagles now have a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Mooresville for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 4. East Mecklenburg will clash with a Blue Devils team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-3.
