California High School Flag Football - Sierra can't hold off Lathrop

Lathrop Spartans (Lathrop, CA) boosters were content Wednesday as they observed their flag football squad nudge the host Sierra Timberwolves (Manteca, CA), 2-0 in a non-league match.

The Spartans (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Pacheco (Los Banos, CA). The Panthers come into the Western Athletic Conference match with a 4-2 record. In their last match, Pacheco was nudged by Los Banos (Los Banos, CA), 28-14, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Timberwolves meet the Mountain House Mustangs (Mountain House, CA) in a Valley Oak League match, on Tuesday, September 9. Sierra will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record.
