Mother McAuley Mighty Macs (Chicago, IL) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Sandburg Eagles (Orland Park, IL), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Mighty Macs (8-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Fenwick (Oak Park, IL). The Friars go into the Girls Catholic (GCAC) test with a 6-2 record.

The Eagles now own a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Plainfield Central for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9.
