New Jersey High School Soccer - Manasquan knocks off Lakewood
September 30, 2024: Manasquan, NJ 08736 Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Manasquan Warriors (Manasquan, NJ) and the visiting Lakewood Piners (Lakewood, NJ), saw Manasquan's soccer squad triumph over Lakewood by a count of 8-0.
The Warriors (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Red Bank Catholic (Red Bank, NJ). The Caseys enter the Shore A - Central battle with a 7-1 record. In their last battle, Red Bank Catholic ran past Keyport (Keyport, NJ), 6-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Piners confront the Barnegat Bengals (Barnegat, NJ) in a Shore B - South battle, on Wednesday, October 2. Lakewood will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Bengals enter the battle with a 5-4 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to St. John-Vianney (Holmdel, NJ).
