Frankfort Redbirds (West Frankfort, IL) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Anna-Jonesboro Wildcats (Anna, IL), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Frankfort upgrades its record to 6-14 on the campaign. The Redbirds host Pinckneyville (Pinckneyville, IL) to play the Panthers in a Southern Illinois River-to-River Mississippi challenge on Thursday, October 2. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 16-4. Pinckneyville won 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Benton (Benton, IL)
