North Carolina High School Volleyball - Phoenix Academy overwhelmed by Cornerstone Charter

The Cornerstone Charter Cardinals topped the host Phoenix Academy Firebirds volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Cardinals face the Piedmont Classical Bobcats (Browns Summit, NC) in a Northwest Piedmont 1A/2A game, on Tuesday, October 7. Cornerstone Charter will attempt to advance on its 19-4 season record.

The Firebirds (4-12) will now prepare for their game against Millennium (Mount Airy, NC). The Lions go into the Northwest Piedmont 1A/2A game with a 8-7 record. In their last game, Millennium gained a win over Triad Math and Science Academy (Greensboro, NC), 3-0, in a league game.
