California High School Flag Football - Dixon can't hold off Wood
September 4, 2025: Dixon, CA 95620 Wood Wildcats (Vacaville, CA) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their flag football team tip the host Dixon Rams (Dixon, CA), 12-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Wood advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Vanden (Fairfield, CA) to play the Vikings in a battle on Wednesday, September 10. The Vikings go into the battle with a record of 5-1. Vanden won 7-6 in their recent non-league battle against Benicia (Benicia, CA)
The Rams now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host El Camino for a match on Monday, September 8. Dixon will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 34-0 non-league loss to Rio Americano (Sacramento, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-2.
