Briarcrest Christian Saints (Eads, TN) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host St. Mary's Episcopal Turkeys (Memphis, TN), 3-1 in a league test.

With the win, Briarcrest Christian advances its record to 13-6 on the season. The Saints travel to Hutchison (Memphis, TN) to face the Sting in a D-II AA West Region test on Monday, September 8. The Sting go into the test with a record of 8-5. Hutchison won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Lakeland Preparatory (Lakeland, TN)

The Turkeys now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arlington for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 5. St. Mary's Episcopal will play a Tigers team coming off a 3-1 league win over Munford (Munford, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 12-0.
