The Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders topped the host Seaforth Hawks volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's non-league game.

Next up, the Crusaders face the Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 6. Cardinal Gibbons will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Mavericks go into the game with a 11-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC).

With the loss, Seaforth drops to 6-4 on the campaign. The Hawks host J.F. Webb (Oxford, NC) to play the Warriors in a Big Seven 4A/5A outing on Tuesday, September 9.
