Texas High School Volleyball - New Diana edged by Gilmer

The New Diana Eagles volleyball team (Diana, TX), was nudged 2-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Gilmer Buckeyes (Gilmer, TX)

The Buckeyes (10-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Chapel Hill (Tyler, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 4A Region II District 16 challenge with a 4-16 record. In their last challenge, Chapel Hill was nudged by Grand Saline (Grand Saline, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now own a 11-12 record. They play next when they travel to Pine Tree for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 5. New Diana will play a Pirates team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Longview (Longview, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 16-10.
