South Dakota High School Volleyball - Lyman can't hold off Gregory
September 4, 2025: Gregory, SD 57533 The Gregory Gorillas tipped the visiting Lyman Raiders volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Thursday's league game.
Next up, the Gorillas confront the Wessington Springs Spartans (Wessington Springs, SD) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, September 9. Gregory will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Spartans enter the game with a 3-1 record after their 3-1 league win over Iroquois/Lake Preston (Iroquois, SD).
The Raiders (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Colome (Colome, SD). The Cowboys come into the B Region 5 outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Colome was nudged by Platte/Geddes (Platte, SD), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
