In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Hickory Hawks football squad scored a decisive 54-6 victory over the Manor Mustangs.

The Hawks (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Indian River (Chesapeake, VA). The Braves enter the Southeastern match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Indian River routed Lakeland (Suffolk, VA), 56-3, in a league match.
