September 5, 2024: Converse, TX 78109 The Hutto Hippos football squad scored 14 points and limited the host Judson Rockets to 6 in the Hippos non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Hippos now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Manor for a non-league test on Thursday, September 19. Hutto will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Bowie (Austin, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Judson drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Rockets host SA Roosevelt (San Antonio, TX) to meet the Rough Riders in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 11. The Rough Riders come into the test with a record of 0-3. SA Roosevelt lost 18-12 in their recent non-league test against East Central (San Antonio, TX)
