September 5, 2024: Abilene, TX 79606 The Wylie Bulldogs football squad scored 20 points and limited the visiting Monterey Plainsmen to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Bulldogs now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Coronado for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 11.
With the defeat, Monterey drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Plainsmen host Big Spring (Big Spring, TX) to meet the Steers in a non-league test on Thursday, September 12. The Steers come into the test with a record of 1-1. Big Spring lost 46-0 in their recent non-league test against Lubbock (Lubbock, TX)
