South Carolina High School Football - Orangeburg-Wilkinson thwarted by Airport
September 5, 2024: Orangeburg, SC 29118 Airport Eagles (West Columbia, SC) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Orangeburg-Wilkinson Bruins (Orangeburg, SC), 26-8 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Airport improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Aiken (Aiken, SC) to play the Fighting Green Hornets in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 19. The Fighting Green Hornets go into the battle with a record of 0-1.
The Bruins now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Edisto for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 12.
