South Carolina High School Football - North Central thwarted by Columbia
September 5, 2024: Kershaw, SC 29067 Columbia Capitals (Columbia, SC) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host North Central Knights (Kershaw, SC), 22-14 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Columbia advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Capitals travel to Mid-Carolina (Prosperity, SC) to play the Rebels in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 10. The Rebels go into the battle with a record of 0-1.
The Knights now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Mid-Carolina for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 12. North Central will play a Rebels team coming off a 44-6 non-league loss to Swansea (Swansea, SC). The Rebels record now stands at 0-1.
