South Carolina High School Football - West Florence can't hold off Lower Richland
September 5, 2024: Hopkins, SC 29061 Lower Richland Diamond Hornets (Hopkins, SC) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team tip the visiting West Florence Knights (Florence, SC), 12-11 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Lower Richland improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Diamond Hornets host Batesburg-Leesville (Batesburg, SC) to play the Panthers in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 12. The Panthers go into the battle with a record of 2-1. Batesburg-Leesville lost 42-6 in their recent non-league battle against Abbeville (Abbeville, SC)
The Knights now have a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Wilson for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 12. West Florence will play a Tigers team coming off a 34-14 non-league loss to Dillon (Dillon, SC). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.
