The St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays felled the visiting Elton Indians football team by a score of 58-28 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Fighting Blue Jays face the Sacred Heart Tigers (Muenster, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 13. St. Edmund will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 48-13 non-league loss to Era (Era, TX).

The Indians (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Northwood (Lena, LA). The Gators come into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Northwood went down by Holy Savior Menard (Alexandria, LA), 42-0, in a non-league test.
