With the win, Friendswood advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Ball (Galveston, TX) to encounter the Tornadoes in a non-league bout on Friday, September 12. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Ball won 27-26 in their recent non-league bout against Texas City (Texas City, TX)

The Eagles now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Terry for a non-league contest on Thursday, September 11. Fort Bend Willowridge will confront a Rangers squad coming off a 20-10 non-league loss to Westbury (Houston, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 1-1.
