The Hanover Park Hornets (East Hanover, NJ) football knocked off the visiting Madison Dodgers (Madison, NJ), 33-19 in Friday's league outing.

The Hornets now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mountain Lakes for a Super - American White outing on Friday, September 12. Hanover Park will clash with a Lakers squad coming off a 49-14 league win over Pequannock (Pompton Plains, NJ). The Lakers record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, Madison drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Dodgers host West Morris Mendham (Mendham, NJ) to battle the Minutemen in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 13. The Minutemen enter the contest with a record of 1-1. West Morris Mendham won 25-7 in their recent league contest against Parsippany Hills (Parsippany, NJ)
