The Phoenix Christian Cougars football squad scored 72 points and limited the host Highland Prep Honey Badgers to 0 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Desert Star for a 2A Metro 4 test on Friday, September 12. Phoenix Christian will meet a squad coming off a 60-14 non-league loss to Chino Valley (Chino Valley, AZ). The record now stands at 1-2.

With the defeat, Highland Prep drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Honey badgers travel to Trivium Prep (Goodyear, AZ) to meet the Crimson Knights in a 2A Metro 4 test on Friday, September 12.
