Washington High School Football - Mt. Rainier tops Highline

The Mt. Rainier Rams football squad scored 38 points and limited the visiting Highline Pirates to 20 in the Rams non-league triumph on Friday.

The Rams now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Kitsap for a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. Mt. Rainier will meet a Wolves squad coming off a 33-14 non-league win over Kentridge (Kent, WA). The Wolves record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Highline drops to 0-1 on the season. The Pirates host Evergreen (Seattle, WA) to face the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 12. The Wolverines go into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Evergreen lost 41-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Pe Ell/Willapa Valley (Menlo, WA)
