The McLane Highlanders football squad scored 50 points and limited the visiting Mendota Aztecs to 0 in the Highlanders non-league triumph on Friday.

The Highlanders now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Santa Maria for a non-league test on Friday, September 12. McLane will clash with a Saints squad coming off a 44-3 non-league loss to Del Oro (Bakersfield, CA). The Saints record now stands at 0-3.

The Aztecs (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Orange Cove (Orange Cove, CA). The Titans enter the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Orange Cove was ripped by Riverdale (Riverdale, CA), 28-6, in a non-league game.
