Minnesota High School Football - Osakis beat Minnewaska Area
September 5, 2025: Osakis, MN 56360 The Osakis Silverstreaks football squad scored 43 points and limited the visiting Minnewaska Area Lakers to 15 in the Silverstreaks non-league triumph on Friday.
In their next game, the Silverstreaks face the Kimball Cubs (Kimball, MN) in a Mid South - Teal challenge, on Friday, September 12. Osakis will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Cubs enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 44-0 league win over Paynesville (Paynesville, MN).
The Lakers (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Pierz (Pierz, MN). The Pioneers enter the Mid West Central - White outing with a 2-0 record. In their last outing, Pierz topped Foley (Foley, MN), 24-0, in a league outing.
