Fans at Friday's league contest between the Ridge Point Panthers (Missouri City, TX) and the host Fort Bend Elkins Knights (Missouri City, TX), observed Ridge Point's volleyball team top Fort Bend Elkins by a count of 3-0.

The Panthers (17-13) will now prepare for their contest against Klein Collins (Spring, TX). The Tigers go into the non-league battle with a 15-9 record. In their last battle, Klein Collins dropped by Clear Springs (League City, TX), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Knights now own a 12-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Bend Austin for a 6A Region III District 21 battle on Tuesday, September 9.
