In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Metea Valley Mustangs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Yorkville Foxes.

The Mustangs (11-3) will now prepare for their battle against Aurora East (Aurora, IL). The Tomcats come into the non-league battle with a 1-5 record. In their last battle, Aurora East lost by Elgin (Elgin, IL), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Foxes clash with the West Aurora Blackhawks (Aurora, IL) in a Southwest Prairie battle, on Thursday, September 7. Yorkville will attempt to advance on its 2-7 season record.
