The Washington-Wilkes Tigers (Washington, GA) football knocked off the visiting McCormick Chiefs (McCormick, SC), 35-16 in Friday's non-league test.

The Tigers now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Butler for a non-league test on Friday, September 13. Washington-Wilkes will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 20-6 non-league loss to Johnson County (Wrightsville, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-1.
