Pennsylvania High School Football - Valley View nudges Wilkes-Barre

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Valley View Cougars football squad scored a close 25-20 triumph over the Wilkes-Barre Wolfpack.

The Cougars (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA). The Comets come into the Lackawanna 1 match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Abington Heights tipped Dallas (Dallas, PA), 30-13, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Wolfpack confront the Dallas Mountaineers (Dallas, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 1 match, on Friday, September 13. Wilkes-Barre will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Mountaineers come into the match with a 0-3 record after their 30-13 non-league loss to Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA).
