In Saturday's non-league match, the host Plateau Valley Cowboys football squad scored a good 42-28 victory over the Custer County Bobcats.

The Cowboys (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Norwood (Norwood, CO). The Mavericks enter the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Norwood thwarted Vail Christian (Edwards, CO), 58-18, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Bobcats confront the Holly Wildcats (Holly, CO) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 13. Custer County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
