The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Mission Viejo Diablos (Mission Viejo, CA) and the visiting Foothill Knights (Santa Ana, CA), witnessed Mission Viejo's flag football squad edge Foothill by a tally of 12-6.

The Diablos (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against San Juan Hills (San Juan Capistrano, CA). The Stallions enter the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, San Juan Hills nudged El Modena (Orange, CA), 7-0, in a non-league bout.

The Knights now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Villa Park for a non-league bout on Monday, September 8. Foothill will encounter a Spartans team coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Capistrano Valley (Mission Viejo, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 4-6.
