The Strawberry Crest Chargers edged the visiting East Lake Eagles volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Chargers confront the Riverview Sharks (Riverview, FL) in a non-league game, on Thursday, September 12. Strawberry Crest will attempt to advance on its 12-0 season record.

The Eagles (5-3) will now prepare for their game against Bishop McLaughlin Catholic (Spring Hill, FL). The Hurricanes go into the non-league game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Bishop McLaughlin Catholic nudged Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate (Tampa, FL), 3-0, in a league game.
