In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Midland Legacy Rebels football squad scored a good 48-17 victory over the Abilene Eagles.

In their next game, the Rebels clash with the Steele Knights (Cibolo, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 15. Midland Legacy will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Knights enter the match with a 2-1 record after their 57-27 non-league win over Hutto (Hutto, TX).

The Eagles (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Frenship (Wolfforth, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, Frenship ran past Monterey (Lubbock, TX), 54-52, in a non-league match.
