September 8, 2025: Hopkinsville, KY 42240 University Heights Blazers (Hopkinsville, KY) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Mayfield Cardinals (Mayfield, KY), 8-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, University Heights moves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Blazers host Henderson County (Henderson, KY) to meet the Colonels in a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. The Colonels come into the test with a record of 7-4. Henderson County won 4-1 in their recent non-league outing against Evansville Christian (Evansville, IN)
Next up, the Cardinals confront the Huntingdon Mustangs (Huntingdon, TN) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, September 9. Mayfield will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Mustangs enter the outing with a 2-3 record after their 3-1 league loss to McKenzie (McKenzie, TN).
