September 8, 2025: Tucumcari, NM 88401 The Santa Rosa Lions football squad scored 20 points and limited the host Tucumcari Rattlers to 6 in the Lions non-league triumph on Monday.
The Lions now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Robertson for a non-league test on Monday, September 15. Santa Rosa will face a Cardinals team coming off a 50-0 non-league loss to Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-3.
The Rattlers (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Texico (Texico, NM). The Wolverines go into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
