Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Southern Alamance Patriots (Graham, NC), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Northwest Guilford improves its record to 7-4 on the season. The Vikings travel to Reagan (Pfafftown, NC) to encounter the Raiders in a Central Piedmont 7A/8A test on Tuesday, September 9. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 13-2. Reagan won 3-0 in their recent league test against R.J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC)

The Patriots now own a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Person for a Mid-Carolina 4A/5A/6A challenge on Tuesday, September 9. Southern Alamance will face a Rockets squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Graham (Graham, NC). The Rockets record now stands at 7-2.
