Michigan-bound senior has enjoyed historic career.

Few, if any, high school football players from the state of New Jersey enjoyed high school football careers as prolific as Jabrill Peppers.

A Pop Warner sensation, Peppers entered high school at Don Bosco Prep to much fanfare, and he did not disappoint.

He starred in the team's secondary and helped lead it to a state title. He was named MaxPreps National Freshman of the Year for his efforts.

Two years and two state titles later, Peppers is now considered the No. 2 recruit nationally in the 247Composite.

The 6-foot-1, 205-pound Peppers now does it all, playing many positions for Paramus Catholic (N.J.), but most expect him to play cornerback at Michigan next year.

However, given his athleticism, don't be surprised to see Brady Hoke find a way to get him the ball on offense.

Either way, Michigan fans are eagerly anticipating his arrivals.

"I mean, it's kind of a double-edged sword. I'm the type of guy that likes to be low-key," Peppers told MaxPreps. "But that seems almost impossible now — so I guess I'm still adjusting to the spotlight."
