Lakota West never let their opponents score on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Sycamore Aviators as they made off with a 10-0 win. Considering the Firebirds have won three matches by more than nine runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Lakota West got a great performance from Ava Gilbert as she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched.
