Ossining is 8-1 against Greeley since December of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Ossining Pride will be playing at home against the Greeley Quakers at 5:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Ossining has three straight victories, Greeley has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Hendrick Hudson typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Ossining proved too difficult a challenge. They took down the Sailors 72-58. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Ossining's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Saniya Bell, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Nicole Perriott was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 18 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Greeley had to suffer through a rough 72-44 loss at the hands of White Plains. Greeley has struggled against White Plains recently, as their contest on Friday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Ossining is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for Greeley, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
Ossining came out on top in a nail-biter against Greeley in their previous matchup back in January, sneaking past 75-73. Will Ossining repeat their success, or does Greeley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
