Volleyball Recap: Monta Vista Falls Despite Big Games from Srahi Bobbili and Isabella Wong

Monta Vista saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish. The loss put an end to the Matadors' undefeated start to the season.

Isabella Wong and Srahi Bobbili certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Wong had six digs and three aces, while Bobbili had seven digs and three assists. Wong is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Monta Vista fell to 4-1. As for Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Monta Vista has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Cupertino on the 6th. As for Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Homestead on the 6th.
