Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Orangeburg Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Latron Moorer, who scored 15 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Moorer has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jay Plummer, who scored 12 points.
Thomas Sumter Academy's defeat was their 15th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Orangeburg Prep, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.
Thomas Sumter Academy will be playing at home against Northside Christian Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Northside Christian Academy is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games. As for Orangeburg Prep, they will head out on the road to square off against Calhoun Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Calhoun Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Tuesday.
