One of the top quarterbacks in high school football is gearing up for a massive senior season in South Florida.

Dia Bell, a five-star Texas commit, enters the fall as one of the most highly-touted recruits in the country.
The 6-foot-2, 215-pound signal caller is coming off a standout junior campaign in which he threw for nearly 2,600 yards and 29 touchdowns while facing some of the toughest competition in the nation. Bell also rushed for 561 yards and added five more scores on the ground.
Bell is ranked as the No. 3 quarterback in the Class of 2026 and the No. 12 overall player nationally, according to the
247Sports. He is the highest-rated player in the state of Florida heading into the 2025 season.

American Heritage is expected to be one of the top teams in the country this fall, with Bell leading the charge. The Patriots have marquee matchups against in-state powers Chaminade-Madonna (Hollywood), Miami Central and St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale) in addition to out-of-state challengers Edna Karr (New Orleans, La.) and St. Joseph's Prep (Philadelphia, Pa.).
Bell, the son of former NBA veteran Raja Bell, is carving his own path on the gridiron. With a state championship already under his belt, the senior quarterback will look to close out his high school career with another title — and potentially a MaxPreps National Championship.
